Casey first got into art around 6 years old. As he developed in throughout his childhood, he began to draw on his friend’s skin during elementary and middle school. Casey was drawing before he could write his name and eventually found a passion in art. He started pursuing a more professional avenue of art after being inspired by his father’s tattoos. He began to look at tattoos within his community and recognized them as a form of self-expression. One of Casey’s friends bought him a tattoo starter kit and he became addicted to the concept of creating permanent art on skin. After starting a tattoo apprenticeship in Glenwood Springs, he moved to Grand Junction and dived in head-first to push his artistic abilities.
